USF Jazz Ensemble I, with special guest artists: Kim Richmond, saxophone/composer and Clay Jenkins, trumpet. This concert freatures USF's exciting 18 piece big band playing the music of Los Angeles jazz recording artist Kim Richmond. Richmond leads a highly acclaimed professional big band whose members include the best jazz musicians in LA, including featured soloist trumpeter Clay Jenkins. Richmond and Jenkins have collaborated on a number of projects together over the years and it is a treat to have them both here at USF to perform on Monday Night Jazz. Come out for an evening of big band jazz!

Enjoy a rare chance to see Jean Anouilh's spellbinding play about Saint Joan in its adaptation by Lillian Hellman.

Directed by Nancy Cole

   With Magali Naas as Joan, The Lark explores the interplay of historical facts and religious mystery against the background of Joan's Inquisition trial. How did a simple pious peasant girl become the victorious leader of the French armies? And what is the Inquisition to make of her conversations with an archangel and two saints? This gripping courtroom drama will give you lots of food for thought.

The Lark is suitable for adults and teens.
